This agreement documents the legally binding terms and conditions attached to the use of the site and services of Little Cloak. By using, viewing, or accessing the site or services in any way, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Service.
Terms of Participation
Any employee or independent contractor, along with their immediate families, are allowed to make use of this optional care provided by Little Cloak.
Limitation of Liability
Little Cloak is a purely voluntary activity. Participants acknowledge this is NOT PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING. Support is offered for everyday life and work challenges. Little Cloak is NOT a licensed counseling resource. Any professional counseling assistance must be sought elsewhere.
Participants acknowledge teaching, guidance, and resources might come from a Biblical worldview but are open to all regardless of religious affiliation or non-affiliation. Our Chaplains are Christian and may share their faith perspectives. Another faith tradition may be requested where possible.
Participants acknowledge they are free to accept or reject any resources offered or referrals for additional services provided.
Participation in speaking with a Chaplain, or use of any Little Cloak resources, will not have any bearing on his or her employment.
All guidance and any recommendations offered are not to be construed as professional advice or counsel. Participants acknowledge and hold Little Cloak and its Chaplains harmless for any financial problems, legal problems, relational problems, or any other types of negative issues stemming from the sole decision of the participant.
Participants may voluntarily submit prayer requests. Little Cloak believes in prayer but will not require or compel prayer. Any submitted prayer request will be kept confidential in line with the confidentiality terms below.
Confidentiality
Participants may request Chaplains within Little Cloak keep certain information confidential to the extent possible. While Little Cloak will make reasonable efforts to not disclose this information outside of Little Cloak, individuals should understand and agree that there are certain instances in which they may be required to, or they may in their sole discretion decide to, disclose this information to others. These instances may include, without limitation:
Intellectual Property
The Little Cloak website contains original content as well as referral resources.
All original content is the sole property of Little Cloak and as such is fully protected by the appropriate international copyright and other intellectual property rights laws.
All outside resources are the copyright of those holding the copyright and Little Cloak offers the resource referrals as a helpful guide, not as a guarantee of content.
Termination
Violation of these terms and conditions will result in immediate termination from services and may result in other appropriate civil or criminal actions.
Alternative Dispute Resolution
Any alleged violations of this agreement shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the 2000 Revised Uniform Arbitration Act.
Governing Law
This Agreement is governed in accordance with the laws of North Carolina, United States.
Changes to This Agreement
Little Cloak reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We do so by posting and drawing attention to the updated terms on the site. Your decision to continue to visit and make use of the site and services after such changes have been made constitutes your formal acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
Therefore, we ask that you check and review this Agreement for such changes on an occasional basis. Should you not agree to any provision of this Agreement or any changes we make to this Agreement, we ask and advise that you do not use or continue to access the Little Cloak site and services immediately.
